Biography

Multifaceted is the word that comes to mind when you describe Evangelist Lillian Jenice Lloyd. Born to Pastor Charles and Lady Jeanette Lloyd, Lillian was destined for greatness. Being a PK (Preachers Kid) she is no stranger to the church. At an early age Lillian was water baptized and she was baptized with the Holy Ghost. At the age of 11 Lillian joined The Young Choraleers of the Middle GA chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop Of America and traveled throughout the Southeast with the group until age 17. Lillian then moved to her parents hometown of Port Huron, MI where she was the Praise and Worship leader and Chorale Director at Zion Tabernacle Christian Center, (Bishop John Ivan Tate is pastor). Under the guiding of the Lord, Lillian relocated to Atlanta and united with the Citadel of Hope Evangelistic Church, were the Pastor was The Late Pastor Nathan L. Simmons, it was there that Lillian received further guidance in the perfecting of her prophetic anointing. While at The Citadel Lillian served as a lead vocalist and Background singer for B Chase Williams and Shabach. The Citadel was also home to a community choir known as The Praise Power Fellowship Choir under the direction of the late Dr. Maurice Culpepper. She served for nearly a decade . Affectionately known in the Music Industry as the Ad-lib Queen, she has shared the stage with many great Pastors and Singers such as Shirley Murdock, John Legend (Ms Lloyd’s Second cousin) , B SLADE , Jennifer Hudson, The Legendary Craig Brothers, James Hall, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Dr Ricky Dillard, Kelly Price The Clark Sisters, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, Vickie Winans, Deitrick Haddon, John P Kee, Dorothy Norwood and many more. Not only does she sing and preach, Lillian is no neophyte to the stage, appearing in 6 major productions: Wicked Ways, Hidden Wounds, A Mothers Love, When All Else Fails Pray, The Power Of a Praying Mother and Too Much Woman Not Enough Man. Ministry does not stop at the pulpit for Lillian, when she is not singing, preaching or prophesying, you can find her actively giving back to people with her time, talents and finances. She has a passion for the elderly, homeless, victims of domestic violence and the terminally ill. Evangelist Lloyd is featured on 5 of their 13 albums on the tunes Stay With God, My Soul Says Yes ,One More Chance and Ive Got the Victory and their latest hit single “God’s gonna do it. She travels abroad in an 8 week, 52 city tour throughout Germany with The Best of Black Gospel choir. Lillian Lloyd is not only a lead vocalist, but she is a songwriter and producer as well .
